
Ky-mani Marley, who is nearing completion of his third album untitled, is surely a celebrity. On February 26, 1976 Ky-mani was the son of the legendary Robert Nesta Marley and Jamaican table tennis champion Anita Belnavis, in Falmouth, Jamaica. East African words for Ky-mani refer to a traveler who is adventurous. Being an East African man, his albums and travels are an adventure. The Journey was his first project in music. He had a broad vision and searched for his niche exploring the music spectrum to discover his numerous talent. Many More Roads, a traditional reggae album that was nominated for a Grammy in 2001 showcased a more mature Ky-mani. Many More Roads, as in addition to The Journey, were well received across the globe and established Ky-Mani in her role of self-made "artist". Ky-Mani has earned a reputation for his distinct blend between hip-hop and R&B mixed with modern-day jazz.
